SVLGA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, Monday 21st September 2020
History was created last evening in the annals of the SVLGA when the AGM
was conducted by ZOOM.
Maureen McKerrow, retiring President, welcomed 28 participants and in Maureen's own words
the 14 point Agenda rattled through like an express train.
The Captain, Karen Ballantyne, reported that all administation was in place for anticipated
return to "normal services" 2021 season.
The Jamboree 2021 is scheduled for 3rd to 5th August at Glenbervie Golf Club and the Irish Match
will take place at Rogunstoun from 29th to 30th March.
The Championship and Blairgowrie dates are 19th to 20th September.
The SVLGA committee presented some adaptations to the Constitution to facilitate management decisions
in unusual conditions such as a Pandemic.
These proposals were unanmimously carried.
Maureen "handed over" the Presidency to Nancy Duncan who thanked Maureen for her cheery and optimistic style.
Nancy is honoured to be President of the SVLGA becuse it is "THE BEST"organisation she has ever joined.
The SVLGA will continue with Marjory Rae Vice President, Karen Ballantyne 2nd year as Captain,Fiona De Vries
2nd year vice captain and Moira Begbie in her 3rd year as Treasurer.
Alison Houston has completed a commendable service of six years as secretary is handing over to Anne Paterson
Borders who stalwartly volunteered for the position.
