Final result from Mary McKenna Perpetual Trophy: 

Scotland won the trophy by 6.5 points to 5.5 points.

Scotland won the Sunday fourballs 3 to 1 and scored 3.5 in the Monday singles to give the winning score of 6.5

Results from day 1 of the Mary McKenna Perpetual Trophy held at Troon Portland golf course, Sunday 31st March.

On a spectacular day at Troon Portland, our team were on great form. First couple out were always in control with a better ball of around 5 under par. The remaining three matches were all down at some point but stuck to their game plan producing some great birdies, resulting in no losses for the team.

Gillian Kyle and Frances Millar won 2 holes v Suzanne Corcoran and Alison Taylor

Sheena Wood and Donna Jackson v Pat Doran and Margaret McCauliffe - Halved Match

Alison Davidson and Lesley Lloyd v Carol Wickham and Mary MacLaren - Halved Match

SCOTTISH VETS TEAM FOR THE MARY McKENNA TROPHY

Many congratulations to Midland Vets Elaine Moffat, our Champion, Lorna McKinlay past Champion and former Curtis Cup player Alison Davidson on their selection for the SVLGA' s Team  to play against the Irish Seniors Ladies Team for the Mary McKenna Perpetual Trophy at Troon Portland Course on  31st March and 1st April, 2019.
