What a beautiful sunny day for our first Meeting of the year at Braehead, Alloa. The course was in really fine condition for the time of year and most ladies said they enjoyed playing it. The overall winner of the Allan Trophy was Bronwen Godley of Blairgowrie, playing in her first Vets Meeting. The full results are available if you click MASTER SCOREBOARD on the right. RESULT : SCOTTISH VETS v IRISH VETS
Ireland retained the Mary KcKenna Salver at Lahinch on Sunday 18th April by a margin of 10 - 2. It was the seventh Irish victory in a row, surpassing Scotland's six consecutive wins from 2003 to 2009.
Ireland now lead 10 - 6 in the series which began in 2000.

DRAW FOR SPRING MEETING 2016
Our first Meeting of the year takes place on Thursday 21st April at Braehead (Alloa) and we are delighted to have a field of 93. There are some new members to the Midland Vets, so do please give the new ladies a warm welcome.
The Draw for the Blairgowrie meeting in September will be done at the Spring Meeting by Captain Shelagh Quinn.

MIDLAND VETS SELECTED FOR THE IRISH MATCH

to play for Scottish Vets against Irish Vets in
the annual contest for the Mary McKenna Perpetual Trophy at Lahinch Old
Course, County Clare, Ireland on Sunday April 17 and Monday April 18.
