Results of the Autumn Meeting at Alyth - 11th September.

42 ladies competed in the Autumn meeting at what was a very blustery day at Alyth Golf Club. The competition was won by Jude Allardice fromn Ladybank Golf Club with a superb 73 gross next 67 closely followed by Fiona Ross from Glenbervie with an 80 gross nett 68. For full results click here

Please find attached the full results for the 4BBB at Auchterarder. 23 teams ( 46 ladies) took part on a lovely warm afternoon with over half the field scoring in the 60s. Please click here for details

CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI FINAL AND FINAL REPORT

 

Alison Davidson beat Lorna McKinley 5/4

Elaine Moffat beat Dorothy Johnson 4/3

 

So to the final:-

 

The golf that was played in the very blustery chilly conditions was a credit to both players. Unfortunatley Alison's putter was a bit cold and she was four down thru 10. She fought back to two down but ran out of holes as Elaine played steady golf to eventually win 3/2. 

 

Elaine also won Best Gross with a 74 in the qualifying round from Jeanne Bell on countback and is the recipient of the Moffat Trophy which she kindly donated for the Best Gross score on the day.

Congratulations to Elaine who will go on to represent the Midland Division, against the other Divisional Champions, at Blairgowrie in September.

 

Congratulation also to Kathryn Champness from Muckhart Golf Club who had a hole in one on the 4th.
