Spring Meeting - Alloa, Mon 18 April 2022

 Entry is now open for the Spring Meeting at Alloa Golf Club on Monday 18 April 2022.   

 Please click here  for the online entry form.   Enter your details on the form and then click 'Submit'.

Entries must be accompanied by payment of the entry fee of £15.   Payment can be by BACS or  cheque (see form for more details)

The closing date for entries is 8 April 2022

Entries are limited and if the event is oversubscribed places will be determined by the earliest date of paid entries received.

GEARING UP FOR THE START OF THE NEW SEASON

Some of you may be aware that we have changed our handicap & membership software to ClubV1.   

SVLGA Midland Division will transition gradually to ClubV1 but for now, our booking system will remain via our website to the SVLGA Midland Division's Competition Convenor.

The Committee have decided to continue to support members to Sign In and Enter Scores.   Members will pick up cards before they go out to play and return them to the Welcome Desk as always.

MIDLAND MEMBERS SELECTED TO PLAY FOR SVLGA

I am delighted to pass on the news that three Midland Division players, Alison Davidson, Elaine Moffat and Lorna McKinlay have been selected to play for SVLGA in their International Match against Ireland at Roganstown GC on Sunday, 27th and Monday, 28th March 2022.

Elaine is the Midland Division 2021 Champion as well as the SVLGA 2021 Champion

Our Midland Division member Fiona de Vries is the Captain of the SVLGA Team

I'm sure you will all join me in wishing the Captain and Team the best of luck.   

I'll be keeping a keen eye on the SVLGA website for updates on the results

SVLGA OPEN MEETING AND GREENSOMES AT BLAIRGOWRIE 

Each division has a limited number of entries to the Open Meeting and Greensomes at Blairgowrie on 26th and 27th September 2022.

Entries will be in pairs and the fee is £65 per person (£130 per pair)

If you wish to enter the ballot for places please e mail your name and your partner's name to Treasurer Aileen Baker at     aileen.baker@btinternet.com

Entries will close on Friday 22nd April 2022 so you will also be able to add your name to the list at the Spring Meeting at Alloa on 18th April.

When the results of the ballot are published entry forms will be provided to the successful pairings. A reserve list will also be published.
